Company to Develop Local Chapters for its Members Nationwide
ALISO VIEJO, CA, February 14, 2007 -- Joystar, Inc., one of the nation's largest and fastest growing travel agency networks and leading seller of cruises, vacations, and group travel today announced it held its first chapter meeting in Central Florida last month. The Company is developing local chapter meetings for its network of independent travel agencies across the nation.
William M. Alverson, CEO stated, "Joystar Chapters will offer a great venue for Joystar members who live in the same area to network with their peers, share experiences, and provide feedback to Joystar and our supplier partners. The purpose of the meetings is to explore the endless opportunities Joystar provides and to maximize the success of our agents’ travel businesses."
Over time, the Chapter meetings will focus on the topics Joystar members find to be most meaningful in terms of running their travel business. Examples include presentations from travel suppliers, tax seminars, selling and communication skills workshops, technology updates, sharing best practices, Joystar back office technology training, and more. The bottom line is for members-helping-members to make their Joystar membership more productive and profitable.
Pat Saizan, ACC & CTA, held the inaugural Chapter Meeting on January 23, 2007 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Pat Saizan says, "After months of planning it was great to see the first chapter meeting come into fruition. It was a great turnout with a positive outcome for our first meeting. I look forward to seeing the chapters grow throughout the United States as Joystar members come together to share ideas, learn and provide feedback to the company. Being part of such a dynamic venture is truly an honor." Pat, who is also an OSSN Chapter Director, will be working closely with Joystar to form member chapters throughout the United States in the coming months.
Joystar is currently seeking Chapter Directors and Co-Directors with a minimum of five (5) years travel experience; strong organizational and communication skills; a thorough knowledge of Joystar host agency programs, and marketing tools available to Joystar members.
Members who are interested in the Chapter Director Program should submit their candidacy to Marly Constantino, Joystar Director of Communications.
